2012: Sigbjörn Engilbjartsson

Early Life & Education

Sigbjörn was born in Seyðisfjörður, Iceland. He comes from a long line of Santas and was brought up in the Santa tradition. 

He emigrated to the United States to study Astrobiology at Penn State. 

Personal Life

Sigbjörn and his partner split their time between Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio, Iceland, and Pensacola, FL. 

Career

Sigbjörn worked as a researcher for NASA in Cape Canaveral. After numerous prompts from his family and friends, he decided to become a Suchcicki Santa, continuing a centuries-long line of working Santas.
