Early Life & Education

Hugo has lived in New Orleans, Louisiana his whole life. He attended technical school and is an accomplished carpenter.

Personal Life

Hugo and his wife Penny have been married for many years. Neither can remember exactly how long. They have five children and seventeen grandchildren.

Career

While he works as a carpenter by day, Hugo has three true loves, Penny, being Santa, and making sauces. He says he will never share his famous roux recipe. Before accepting the position as the new 2009 Suchcicki Santa, Hugo was runner-up on the first season of The Big Brunch.

In Memoriam: Kristofer P. Kringlestein

Early Life & Education

Kristofer grew up in the Bronx. He attended Bronx High School for Law and Community Service. 

Personal Life

Kristofer is an avid follower of Law & Order and has been featured on several episodes. 

Career

Kristofer began working with Macy’s as a Santa in 1945. He was unsuccessful in his attempts to have his employer recognize his true identity as Santa. His life was dramatized on film after a heroic battle against the New York District Attorney to be recognized as Santa. 

Mr. Kringlestein chose to live as a Suchcicki Santa as his relationship with Macy’s was irreparably damaged.

Kristofer P. Kringlestein passed away after a brief stay at the Suchcicki Santa Medical and Rehabilitation Center. His cremains have been interred at Macy’s, per his request.
