2006: James Leileoukulani

Early Life & Education

James was born and raised on the island of Oahu. He moved to the mainland to play basketball at UCLA under John Wooden. He was drafted first-round into the NBA by the Toronto Raptors. 

In Toronto, he discovered a love of cold climates and decided to become a Santa. A snowbird at heart, Jim comes to Florida each winter to work as a Suchcicki Santa.  

Personal Life

James was married for several years to an international supermodel, but the couple divorced in 2004.

Career

James won four NBA championships with the Raptors and stayed with the team for ten years until a devastating xiphoid injury sidelined him. 

He worked as a mall Santa for several years in Canada before reaching his goal of becoming a Suchcicki Santa.  

Update

James remarried in 2015 and is a happy stepdad to four kids.
